About:

I got this physician’s formula duo conceal around a year ago and have used it almost every day. I still haven’t hit pan on this. This is definitely lasting me a really long time and it hasn’t dried up yet. So for an economical stand point, this has a decent quality that can last a long time. Great quantity for the price.
So I got this a year ago when I realized that school is making me sleep less and my dark circles are too obvious to ignore. I got this when shoppers was having a sale so it cost me around $7. I got the yellow/neutral shade (that was the only one available at the store I was at) but there is also a green/neutral shade.

Swatch- Bottom: Yellow shade. Top: Neutral shade

This is about the YELLOW side only: I use the yellow side every day to cover up my under eye circles and slightly around my nose area to cover up some of the darkness and redness. It already had a creamy texture when I apply it. It is easy to blend with my foundation brush and doesn’t give a cakey appearance. If you want a creamier texture than putting it under the hairdryer will definitely help it even more. But for me, using it alone works great already.

So why did I give it a 3.5/5 for quality? For some reason the yellow side is WONDERFUL but the neutral side is really bad. The colour of the neutral side is in a specified shade that is for really fair skin. It is definitely hard to match it. I tried applying it under my foundation to make it blend away better, but it still doesn’t work. It also gives off a cakey appearance that the yellow side didn’t. I am wonderful if the two have different formulations and materials. So to sum up, I have tried using this neutral side in many ways and it still is pretty useless. I don’t want to waste the product, but there isn’t anything else I can do with it. Its not sticky enough to be a good base either.

Packaging: It comes with a mini concealer brush. The concealer brush is not good for blending and evening it out. It gives a streaky appearance when using it. I opt to use my posh concealer brush + foundation brush instead. The clear container packaging is really durable and a convenient square size. I dropped it a couple of times and nothing has come off yet, so its pretty durable :P

Overall, I really enjoyed the yellow side of the duo. It is still worth the buy even if I don’t use the neutral side because for $7.. well I’ve used it for almost a year and I’m not even half way done. However, it is a waste and I don’t like wasting anything at all.

Pro:
- Lots of product
- Creamy texture
- Durable and simple packaging

Con:
- Neutral shade side is useless unless you have really fair skin tones
- Bad concealer brush

Purchase again? I may or may not purchase it again. Going to try other concealers first (ex. maybelline age rewind duo conecaler). If nothing is doing well in covering my under eye circles, I will go back to this because this does do a decent job.
